The Parkwood neighborhood is a popular, family friendly, well established community in East Central Fort Collins. A mixture of ranch, bi-level and two story homes built between the late 1960s and early 1970s. This mid century architecture combined with quiet streets, towering, mature trees and large, private lots make Parkwood a renowned neighborhood. Residents enjoy access to Williams Lake, a community pool, tennis courts and community open space. Edora Park is a just a few blocks north of Parkwood. This 65 acre park has something for everyone: an ice rink, pool, disk golf course, BMX course, skate park, ball fields, tennis courts, horseshoe courts and much more.
The Ponds at Overland Trail is located in west Fort Collins at the intersection of Prospect road and Overland Trail. Nestled against the foothills, this popular neighborhood boasts 73 acres of community open space with native grass and natural surface walking trails. These trails connect to the Maxwell Natural Area and the Foothills Trail, a 6.8 mile trail which runs along the east side of Horsetooth Reservoir and connects 4 different City of Fort Collins Natural Areas.
As I sit and review the 3rd quarter 2012 housing stats for Fort Collins, the numbers tell the story my team and I have been relaying to our clients all year: Inventory is down, prices are up; our market is moving!
